Antivirus check: passed
SmoothVideo Project is a program that allows you to increase the "smoothness" of the video by adding new frames containing intermediate positions of objects to the video order. By default, the frame rate increases to 60, but you can increase the FPS value to 120/144 (requires monitors with the appropriate hertzite). Of course, achieving the latest values will require "powerful" iron. SmoothVideo Project actively uses GPU acceleration from NVIDIA and AMD, which support OpenCL. Intermediate frames adding technology also works for 3D video. By the way, the program includes a "proprietary" 2D to 3D video converter.
SmoothVideo Project increases the frame rate in Media Player Classic, KMPlayer, GOM Media Player and any other DirectShow supported player. In the control panel of the program you can specify the balance between smoothness and clarity of the picture with the help of a convenient slider. There you can also enable image optimization for movie playback and animation, as well as customize the graphical artifact filter.
SmoothVideo Project enhances viewing experience by increasing video frame rate, resulting in a smoother and clearer video playback.
Together with the SmoothVideo Project, madVR is installed on the computer. This rendering technology maximizes image quality and almost completely compensates for the loss of sharpness caused by increased frame rates. SmoothVideo Project also includes several other useful codecs, the parameters of which you can choose in a separate section of the control panel.
- allows you to increase the smoothness of the video by inserting frames with intermediate positions of objects;
- actively uses hardware acceleration of the GPU;
- works with most players that support DirectShow;
- is equipped with madVR, as well as its own set of codecs;
- can be controlled remotely via HTTP;
- can convert 2D videos to 3D.
