TeXmacs is a great open-source software for scientific writing and presentation. It offers a wide range of features, such as support for different mathematical symbols, text formatting and a user-friendly interface. The software is highly customizable and has a wide range of plugins available. It is also very easy to use and has a powerful search engine. I found the built-in presentation mode to be quite useful and I have used it for making crisp presentations. The export options are also very handy, allowing me to export my documents to different formats like PDF, HTML, and LaTeX. I am overall very satisfied with TeXmacs and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and powerful software for scientific writing and presentation.
