I'm also not quite certain what this is. You can click on a link to a guide that is supposed to explain the use of the software but it wasn't really clear to me based off of the first link that I chose. If you go the second link, Winmerge.org then it will explain in more detail and more clearly than the first link.

I've been using WinMerge for a while now and I find it to be a great tool for comparing files. It's easy to use, with a simple and intuitive user interface. It also has a great feature that allows you to ignore certain parts of the files while comparing. It also has a helpful feature that allows you to show the differences between two versions of the same file side by side. There's also a great syntax highlighting feature which makes it easy to identify differences. It's also very fast, so it's great for quickly comparing large files. Overall, I find WinMerge to be a great tool for comparing files.

I have been using WinMerge for a few years now for diffing and merging text files. It is a very useful tool for comparing two different versions of a source code. The interface is simple and easy to use, and it provides some powerful features, such as two-way and three-way diffing. I also like the fact that it can detect and merge moved blocks of text. WinMerge is an excellent tool for quickly spotting differences between files.
