APK Editor Studio
APK Editor Studio is a free and open-source APK reverse-engineering tool for Windows, macOS and Linux, developed by Alexander Gorishnyak and licensed under GNU GPL v3. It lets you easily extract, edit or replace the resources of an Android application package, change the app icon and title, remove unwanted permissions, explore the internal structure of an app, sign the APK and install it on a connected device. The program is written in C++ with Qt and uses Apktool to unpack and repack applications.
APK Editor Studio lets you modify, re-sign and install Android APK files without working with Apktool and command-line tools by hand.
Features:
• Project Manager: The starting point for editing an APK, giving you quick access to the most relevant actions such as opening, saving, signing and installing a package.
• Icon Editor: APK Editor Studio automatically classifies APK resources, so you can change the Android application icon in no time.
• Title Editor: Easily change the Android application title, including its translations into different languages.
• Image Editor: View and replace images, with automatic conversion between PNG, SVG, WebP, JPEG, BMP, ICO, GIF and many other formats.
• Code Editor: An advanced editor with code folding, find and replace, and syntax highlighting for more than 350 formats, including Smali.
• Manifest Editor: Edit the most essential Android manifest properties without having to dig into its internal structure.
• Permission Editor: Add or remove Android application permissions with just a couple of clicks.
• APK Signer and Signature Viewer: Sign the APK automatically with the built-in key or your own key from the key manager, and view and verify APK signatures.
• APK Installer and Android Explorer: Install the APK on your device in one click, manage files on the device and take screenshots directly from your computer.
• APK Cloner: An experimental feature that clones an APK, so you can install multiple instances of the same application.
• APK Optimizer: The APK is automatically optimized after packing to improve its stability and reduce RAM usage; a framework manager and an Apktool updater are also built in.
