Bitcontrol MPEG-2/4, H.263 video and audio decoder is designed for Windows Media Player, bitcontrol Quad Recorder and other players for MS Windows operating systems. Both parts of the decoder, video and audio, run as built-in DirectShow filters under MS Windows. Decoder supports DirectX, DXVA 1.0 and DXVA 2.0 acceleration for Vista 32/64. That's why HDTV can be easily played back on Celeron processors with frequencies less than 1GHz. The Bitcontrol MPEG-2/4 decoder is very resistant to faults such as incoming stream emissions, bit-level errors and other signal faults. The decoder is therefore very suitable for DVB-T, DVB-S and Internet streaming applications.
Bitcontrol MPEG-2/4 decoder is able to decode MPEG video streams in real time to the most significant profiles and levels up to 80 Mbps, including 4:2:2:2 and 4:4:4 color formats. The video decoder is compatible with ISO/IEC13818-2 (MPEG-2 video), ITU-T H.263 and ISO/IEC 14496-2 (MPEG-4) standards. The Bitcontrol MPEG-2/4 audio decoder supports LPCM and MPEG-1 Layer 1/2 audio formats.
