Blackmagic ATEM Switchers

Blackmagic Design's ATEM Switchers Software is the software package for Blackmagic ATEM live production switchers. It installs ATEM Software Control, the ATEM Setup utility for updating switcher firmware and changing settings, and the product manuals. With ATEM Software Control you can operate an ATEM switcher from a computer connected over USB or Ethernet, which helps you create live multi-camera productions with ease. The software is free for owners of ATEM hardware.

• Switcher Page: The Switcher page lets you make live cuts, apply transitions, adjust keys and overlay graphics, just like on a hardware panel.

• Live Streaming: On ATEM models with a built-in streaming engine, ATEM Switchers Software lets you set up streaming to YouTube, Twitch, Facebook and other popular platforms.

• Audio Mixer: The Audio page provides a Fairlight audio mixer with parametric EQ, compressor, limiter and noise gate on models that support it.

• Picture in Picture: ATEM Switchers Software lets you set up picture in picture effects with the DVE on models that include one.

• Keyers: Upstream and downstream keyers, including chroma key, let you easily create professional-looking multi-layered effects.

• Video Effects: Create transitions such as mix, dip, wipe and DVE moves from the transition controls.

• Media Page: Upload graphics and stills to the switcher's media pool for titles, logos and lower thirds.

• Remote Control: Control the switcher remotely over Ethernet via the included ATEM Software Control Panel; several operators can use separate copies at the same time.

• Mac & PC Compatibility: ATEM Switchers Software supports both Mac and Windows computers.

• Video Formats: ATEM Switchers Software supports the HD, Ultra HD and other video standards of the connected switcher, depending on the model.

• Macros: Record sequences of actions as macros, store them in the switcher and edit them as XML files.

• Expandable: ATEM Switchers Software can be combined with hardware control panels, such as the ATEM Camera Control Panel and ATEM Advanced Panel models.

• Camera Control: The Camera page controls Blackmagic cameras from the switcher, including iris, focus and color correction.

• Multiview: Customize multiview layouts, choose the video standard and label the inputs from the settings.

• Advanced Features: ATEM Switchers Software can also control Blackmagic HyperDeck recorders for clip playback, and ATEM Setup installs firmware updates for the switcher.
