I recently installed cpuminer on my Linux machine to begin mining cryptocurrencies. Initial setup was easy, with clear instructions for configuration. I was able to start mining almost immediately, and the miner ran without interruption for several hours. The user interface is very straightforward and easy to understand. The miner is lightweight and doesn't take up too much memory. However, I did encounter some slowdowns and lags when running the miner. All in all, it is a decent program for mining cryptocurrencies with a CPU.
