Drumagog

Drumagog is a professional audio plugin by WaveMachine Labs for replacing acoustic drum tracks with samples of your choice while preserving the dynamics and feel of the original performance. It is inserted on a drum track such as the snare, and every time that drum plays, Drumagog triggers a new sample in its place, which can be used as-is or blended with the original sound.

Features:

• Automatic Drum Replacement: Drumagog detects every hit of the original drum in real time and plays the chosen replacement sample, following the dynamics of the performance.

Drumagog replaces weak or poorly recorded drum hits with high-quality samples while keeping the timing and dynamics of the original performance.

• Advanced Triggering Engine: the engine tracks fast rolls and flams, and visual triggering lets you set the sensitivity by moving a line until all hits are detected.

• Sample Library: Drumagog comes with a 7 GB library that includes drums from the Smart Studio Drums, Supersonic Samples, Dan's House, Farview and MoReVoX collections.

• MIDI In/Out: Drumagog can trigger external sound sources over MIDI or work as an independent drum sound module.

• VST/AU/AAX Support: Drumagog is available in VST, Audio Units and Pro Tools AAX formats, so it works in hosts such as Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton Live, Cubase, Nuendo, SONAR and Reaper.

• Auto-Align 2.0: developed with the Fraunhofer Institute, this algorithm phase-aligns the whole waveform of each sample with the original hit instead of only the leading transient.

• Multi-Sample Support: dynamic, random and articulation multisamples, plus matched room and overhead samples recorded together with each direct sample.

• Bleed Reduction and Trigger Filter: automatic bleed reduction and a filter section with high-pass, low-pass, band and band-reject filters help prevent false triggers.

• Extra Tools: stealth mode, pitch control, a drum synthesizer, auto-ducking and a live triggering mode for use on stage; the Platinum edition adds hi-hat articulation tracking, Morph|Engine, convolution reverb and VSTi hosting.

• Native Support for Windows and Mac: current versions run on Windows 10 or newer and macOS 10.13 or newer; legacy versions are available for older and 32-bit systems, and a 14-day trial is offered.
