It's a fast, simple, portable, and free Integrated Development Environment (IDE) that employs the Mingw port of GCC (GNU Compiler Collection) as its compiler. With Embarcadero Dev C++, users are enabled to work with Cygwin or any other GCC-based compiler. It is in fact a new, improved fork, sponsored by Embarcadero, of the Bloodshed Dev-C++ and Orwell Dev-C++ software. Embarcadero Dev C++ is crafted using the latest version of Embarcadero Delphi.
