Skype does not provide any built-in functionality to record audio or video conversations. This is where Evaer comes in. Evaer allows you to capture your Skype video and audio in a wide variety of formats and resolutions up to 1080p.  The software allows you to save the files directly to your hard drive for playback and sharing at your convenience.  Evaer supports picture in picture recording, screen sharing sessions, and Skype group video sessions.

• The professional license also available, which extends the capability to include more video mode support such as side by side portrait mode, dynamic video switching during calls, exchanging video position during PiP modes, and more.  

This easy to use an add-on to Skype will provide everything you need to record your Skype conversations.  Its extensive feature set means that you can choose exactly what aspects of the conversation you'd like to record, and once you've done that, everything is taken care of automatically.  Audio and video are saved directly to your hard drive in the formats of your choosing.  All common video positions are supported, and the software can even automatically record voicemail and incoming calls.
