Heaven Benchmark is a benchmark with support for DirectX 11 and earlier versions of this API, built on the Unigine engine. This is one of the most popular programs used to test the performance and stability of graphics adapters.
To create the maximum load on the graphics card benchmark can use the most advanced and resource-intensive graphics technologies, such as tessellation, surround lighting, fog and stereo effect. The main test parameters are selected before the benchmark itself is launched. In addition to the above mentioned technologies, you can choose the image resolution in the start menu, the general preset of the quality used by the API (DirectX 9, DirectX 10, DirectX 11, OpenGL) and enable the matrix. Part of the parameters of the program allows you to change directly during the testing process.
Heaven Benchmark provides frame rate, GPU temperature and current memory usage. This information changes in real time as the benchmark scenes change. During the testing process, the program records detailed statistics and creates a CSV report with the minimum and maximum values of FPS, duration of testing, total number of rendered frames and other important information. Unfortunately, reports are only available in a paid version of Heaven Benchmark. Also, users without a license cannot switch to the software rendering mode and use the tool of frame-by-frame analysis.
This benchmark is designed primarily as a solution for powerful systems focused on heavy-duty three-dimensional graphics.
