Hikvision
SADP (Search Active Device Protocol) is a free utility designed to search for active Hikvision devices on the local network. The utility can be used to perform the following tasks:
1. Automatically search for Hikvision devices in the local network.
2. Retrieve basic information about the devices, such as device model, serial number, IP address, MAC address and firmware version.
3. Upgrade device firmware.
4. Change device IP settings, including IP address, subnet mask and default gateway.
5. Change device password.
6. Restart the device.
7. Generate a configuration file for the device.
8. Add a device to the Hikvision iVMS-4200 management software.
SADP offers a simple and user-friendly graphical user interface and can be used to manage multiple devices at the same time. It supports all major Hikvision devices, including IP cameras, NVRs, DVRs, access control devices and video intercom devices.
The utility is available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X operating systems. It requires no additional hardware or software and can be run from any computer in the local network.
