ImgBurn

ImgBurn is a lightweight freeware tool for burning all kinds of CD, DVD, HD DVD and Blu-ray images. The application allows you to work with various image formats, including BIN, CCD, CDI, CUE, DI, DVD, GI, IMG, ISO, MDS, NRG and PDI.

One of the main features of this program is support for many types of recording devices, including recorders with the function of changing the parameter booktype / bitsetting from leading manufacturers BenQ, NEC, Plextor, Sony.

The program works in five modes: Read, Build, Write, Verify and Discovery. Among the wide range of ImgBurn functions is the ability to perform data verification, write quality analysis and view other information about the disc and its physical structure. You can lock the drive tray and change the booktype of DVD media. Support for the Unicode standard is present, which eliminates possible problems associated with the use of different character sets. If you want to clear a rewritable disc, you can choose between a full and quick erase.

ImgBurn supports multiple image formats and recording devices, offering features like automatic multiple disc recording, data verification, and write quality analysis.

It is possible to automatically record several discs at once. At the same time, the write queue system allows all available CD/DVD drives to be used. In addition, you can use the Automatic Write Speed feature, which applies preferred speeds to certain types of media.

ImgBurn also allows you to search for new firmware versions for your drive via the Internet. The program is no longer developed: the last version, 2.5.8.0, was released in 2013.
