Virtual CD

Virtual CD is designed to create images of optical disks (CD, DVD, Blu-ray and HD DVD), so you can access your data at any time without having the disk at hand. In addition to convenience, this is extremely useful in the event that your original disk is damaged, lost or stolen. Virtual CD stores the images as virtual CDs and can also use ISO images directly, with the ability to add any comments and descriptions to each of them.

For data access, disk images can be mounted on one of several virtual drives. Each virtual drive will have its own letter in the system. With the new data safe mode, you can create encrypted drives for secure storage of sensitive data. Virtual CDs can also be encrypted and protected with a password, and the network version makes them available to other users.

Starting from version 10, Virtual CD can burn your choice of data directly onto a CD, DVD or Blu-ray disc, and it also burns virtual CDs and ISO images and makes 1:1 copies of discs. This eliminates the need to use other programs to record discs. The sound file mode converts audio files to the MP3 or OGG Vorbis format. Virtual CD is commercial software with a 30-day trial version.
