Incognito Gone is software that removes the ability for a computer to hide it's browsing history. It is aimed mainly at parents who are not happy with the fact that their kids can use internet browsers without creating a searchable history. Most internet browsers have an "incognito" mode or something of nature, that masks the browsing activity of anyone who turns on the mode. While this feature is excellent for privacy, it leaves some parents feeling that they are being restricted from keeping tabs on the kinds of things that their children see on the internet. The software will completely remove the ability of the kids to browse without leaving a paper trail showing what they have been seeing.
It is noted that the software is not meant for someone who wants to be able to turn the feature on and off whenever he or she would like. Since Incognito Gone completely removes the incognito ability permanently, it is only recommended that the software is used by individuals who are aware that this is an irreversible change. Fortunately, once the software is downloaded and started, a warning box pops up that requires a response. This box reminds the user that the change that they are about to make is not reversible, and the user must either accept or deny this change. This ensures that one is not likely to accidentally remove the incognito feature without fully knowing what it is that one is doing.
The software is available at no cost, but the developer accepts donations if you feel so inclined.

Using incognito mode, in a browser can be helpful for keeping your browsing activities from others who use the device. However it's important to note that it doesn't completely hide your activity from websites or network providers. Browsers like Chrome have features called Incognito Mode while Safari has Browsing. Although these modes automatically delete your history, cache and cookies they don't prevent websites, search engines or network providers from tracking your activities.

For privacy and safety Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) are recommended as they conceal your IP address and encrypt your data. This adds a layer of protection against surveillance. Another option, for browsing is Tor Browser; however it's worth noting that it comes with some risks and offers security compared to VPNs.
