Inkscape gets four out of five stars for me. It is easy to use, the layout and design are user friendly and appealing to the eyes. Even if you are an amateur, you will not have a difficult time using the program. I do not think that most professionals and non-professionals should have a very hard time using this product. If I was to layout some of the cons, it is very difficult to use a program that is not a nationally recognized program. Also sometimes it is hard to adapt to the short cuts, otherwise, this is a great tool.

When it comes to wanting to draw, amend, or alter digital images, it is difficult to find an open-source program to compete with Inkscape for Windows. Obviously, it is free, but what you get is a slick application that can work with just about any file format you could want it to. It has all the drawing tools you would expect with a vector graphics editor and it is simple to set up and use. Its history goes back to 2003 and 17 years later it has evolved into an impressive product.

It's ability to convert bitmap images to vectors is one of the best features. There are many shortcuts to navigate and control the tools. One con to specify is that it suddenly closes in between the work and is not saved. Even though at first sight it looks confusing, it is actually easy once you start working with it.
