MP4Box is a multiplexer that allows you to import several video formats (DivX, XviD, H264, 3ivx, etc.), audio and subtitles into MP4 containers. The program works from the command line and is able to decode and encode MPEG-4 XMT / W3C SVG in binary formats MPEG-4 BIFS and LASeR, add / delete video and sound, multiplex ISO-files like MP4 and 3GP, encrypt video streams, add metadata to them and much more. With simple commands, MP4Box users can, for example, recode DivX files into MP4 format or add additional audio tracks to the video. The program also allows you to extract streams from MP4 files.

It supports multiplexing and demultiplexing of audio, video and text streams, including support for MPEG-4, ISO-BMFF and MPEG-2 Transport Streams. It can also be used to create, edit and inspect ISO-BMFF files.
