Password Viewer is a small Windows utility that allows you to view hidden passwords. With its help you can see not only hidden passwords in the password boxes of different programs, but also password input fields on web pages in the Internet Explorer window (Windows 2000 and later).
This utility is a portable executable file and does not require installation or any additional DLLs. Simply click on the "hand" icon and drag it over the password box or input field; the hidden text then appears in the Password Viewer window.
The program is freeware by Igor Tolmachev. It is no longer developed: version 1.4, released in 2006, is the latest one.
Password Viewer helps retrieve hidden passwords, enhancing access to forgotten or obscured login credentials.
