Red Giant VFX Suite

Red Giant VFX Suite is a collection of plugins for creating effects shots within After Effects. Video editors and compositors can use it to isolate subjects from colored backdrops, follow movement in a clip, erase unwanted elements, and blend added imagery with recorded footage. Typical projects include screen inserts, background changes, and layered motion graphics.

Build and finish effects shots in After Effects using tools for tracking, subject extraction, and scene integration.

The plugins address different stages of a composite. A keyer separates foreground subjects, while a tracker helps position graphics on moving surfaces. A cloning tool assists with object removal, and a compositing tool combines layers with simulated light and haze. Other controls add glows, shadows, reflections, and color displacement, allowing users to adjust individual parts of an effects shot.
