SMLoadr is a client for Windows (x86 and x64), which allows you to create an offline music collection by downloading songs, albums and album covers from the Deezer streaming music service. SMLoadr is a software program that downloads mp3 or FLAC files.
Features:
SMLoadr is a program using application program interfaces more commonly called APIs to gather and download the music files with album covers from Deezer. In an API set-up, automated protocols, routines, and scripts make calls to the Deezer’s server and request the music while downloading it for you to your downloads folder. SMRLoadr uses a rudimentary GUI to allow you to make the requests without having to use actual command-line scripting.
This software allows you to download streaming music to keep for your own local collection.
Using included CLI support, you can gather a list of music URLs from your favorite artists and put them into a text file called "downloadLinks.txt". You can run parameter download mode or -d to then download every track included on the URLs provided for batch downloading. You can perform a similar command to specify if you want specific quality (mp3 128kbps, mp3 320kbps or FLAC) or to change the default download location.
Currently, SMLoadr is available for free as a standalone client. There are plans by the creator to add additional streaming services to SMLoader. The program was last updated about 3 months ago, and the source code is available for those who want to tinker with it.
