Furthermore, Editor provides users with the ability to perform basic image editing operations such as cropping, resizing, rotating, etc. You can preview an image while editing it: click the preview window to move selections within the edit window. Adding text, applying special effects, creating web graphics, and editing layers are also possible. Colors can also be chosen through the eyedropper, and gradients can be painted as well as plain or anti-aliased text added to any picture.

The program offers up to 100 effects and filters you can use on your photos, such as color correction, blurring, mosaic, and fisheye effects. A dozen different types of distortion tools can be applied to your images, such as twirls, waves, and several blur and sharpening filters. Among the options in color, management are auto-corrections and the ability to switch between the foreground and background colors. Moreover, it is able to refine images using the gamma correction tool. An advanced tool enables you to turn a person's picture into a cartoonish caricature. However, it cannot handle multiple layers or multiple files at the same time even though many Photoshop-compatible filters are included. This free version lets you save a variety of popular image formats.
