Winamp Full

Winamp Full: the complete installer of the Winamp media player

Without exaggeration we can say that Winamp is one of the most famous music file players in the world. Many years ago, this player climbed to the top of fame thanks to the high quality of playback and, importantly, being free of charge. Today Winamp is a powerful multimedia player, thanks to which in addition to listening to your favorite songs you can watch videos, listen to thousands of SHOUTcast Internet radio stations and subscribe to podcasts. The built-in directories contain many radio stations and podcasts from all over the world. If necessary, you can sort the stations you are interested in by genre.

Full support for playlists, a convenient 10-band equalizer and a functional control system have long been the hallmark of this player. With local file management, you can easily organize your existing audio and video recordings into your home collection. For example, the music section is divided into three windows: artists, albums of the selected artist and the tracks window. In addition to the features typical of such programs, Winamp includes such popular views as "Recently Added", "Most Played" and "Top Rated".

Winamp Full provides high quality playback for music and video with added features like SHOUTcast internet radio, podcasts and CD ripping.

It's worth mentioning the Winamp add-ons separately. Using them, you can download additional skins and quickly change the look of your player. In addition, a large number of free plug-ins are available, which significantly expand the functionality of the player, and visualization plug-ins such as MilkDrop 2 and AVS add new visual effects to it.

Another interesting feature is the ability to manage portable devices. Going to the Devices section and connecting your player or smartphone to your computer, you will immediately get access to all tracks recorded in the device and can sync your library with it.

Since modern multimedia content is closely connected with the Internet, the developers have included an integrated web browser in Winamp. You can use it for online services and to search online for the music you are interested in.

Winamp was once offered as Lite, Full and paid Pro editions. The current Full installer is free, needs no Pro licence and also includes a CD ripper and format converter, while a basic Lite version was offered for those who only needed a simple player.
