3DXchange is an incredible conversion and editing tool that allows users to take their animation skills to a whole new level. Users are connected to iClone which provides a ton of 3D content that can be used in any way the creator imagines. 3DXchange allows users to import and export all kinds of 3D assets, including props, static objects, and motion files. You can even bring in skin-bone rigged characters, which is something that most other software can't do.
3DXchange also allows you to repurpose your 3D assets with output designed specifically for engines like Unity, Unreal, Maya, and Daz Studio. Using the software won't require too much expertise, it's fairly pointed and clicks in terms of what you want to do. If you have some knowledge of converting animated files, then 3DXchange will be a very quick and easy thing to pick up. I'm a veteran in these types of things so I was able to pick up the program in just a few minutes.
Gain access to a massive library of 3D assets that will improve your projects ten fold.
What I like most about 3DXchange is that the tools are very intuitive. Even if you don't know where everything is, you will be able to feel out or guess where certain tools or commands are most of the time. I also like the fact that I can create high-quality shots with this program. I'm taking shots that look like they were taken on industry-standard cameras like Canon, Red, or Alexa. In addition to that, the scene quality you will produce will be noticeable due to PBR, VXGI, and IBL technology. Normal 3D scenes will look photo realistic and impress just about anyone. All in all, I'd recommend this to just about any aspiring 3D animator or artist.
