ABBYY PDF Transformer

ABBYY PDF Transformer 3.0 is a PDF conversion and creation tool whose capabilities will be appreciated by everyone whose responsibilities include working with PDF documents. The main value of the solution lies in the ability to convert any (even scanned!) PDF file into editable formats such as Word, Excel, RTF, TXT and HTML. This will preserve the style and formatting of the document and the relative arrangement of all elements and tables. Optical recognition of 184 languages is supported.

Reverse actions are also available. You can create a PDF document (including compressed PDF/A) from Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, RTF, HTML and text files, protect it with passwords, or combine several different documents into one. It is worth mentioning that it is possible to create PDF directly from any Microsoft Office suite application at the touch of a button, and from other programs through the included PDF-XChange 4.0 for ABBYY virtual printer.

ABBYY PDF Transformer 3.0 is designed for a wide range of users. It also offers a redaction tool for removing sensitive information, stamps and Bates numbering, and conversion right from the Windows Explorer context menu. The program is no longer sold or supported; its functions now live in ABBYY FineReader PDF.
