I found AbiWord when I was looking for a free and easy to use alternative to Microsoft Word as I didn't have the money to pay for Word subscription. It was very easy for me to use as it had a lot of familiar features. There was also an option to add more features via plug ins which made it a very versatile product and helped me to write a lot of documents.
