Advanced Driver Updater

Advanced Driver Updater is a driver manager program that allows you to download and install driver updates automatically. The program starts with a proposal for a system analysis that will identify problems with outdated/not available drivers for peripheral devices and hardware. After the scan, every outdated driver is listed with its device name, device class and installed version, so you can see exactly which components need attention. Drivers can be updated one by one with the "Update driver" link next to each device, or all at once with the "Update All" button.

Once the system analysis is complete, users with a commercial license can update all outdated drivers in one pass. The free trial version of Advanced Driver Updater updates drivers only one at a time, while the registered version also gives access to a larger driver database, faster downloads and priority support.

In addition to updating the software, the program also offers a backup function. You can back up all system drivers or only selected ones, and restore them later from the Restore tab if a new driver causes problems. In the Settings tab you can set up a scan schedule (daily, weekly or monthly), choose the folders for downloaded drivers and backups, and create an exclusion list - drivers on this list are skipped when the program searches for updates.
