AnthemScore is automatic music transcription software that converts audio recordings into sheet music. Developed by Lunaverus, it uses a neural network trained to detect notes, percussion, beats and instruments, so most of the work of finding notes is done automatically and users do not have to be experts in music notation.
AnthemScore's interface shows the song as a spectrogram next to a piano keyboard, with the detected notes drawn on top. Users can add or remove notes with a single click, use a slider to add or remove notes intelligently, copy and paste sections, and tap the downbeats while listening to set the measures. For difficult passages, playback can be slowed down without changing the pitch.
Transcriptions can be saved as PDF, MusicXML and MIDI files (the available export formats depend on the edition), so they can be opened in notation programs and other music software. The program works with local audio files such as MP3, WAV, FLAC and OGG rather than streaming services like SoundCloud, and files with DRM are not supported. AnthemScore is a one-time purchase in Lite, Professional and Studio editions, and the free trial is limited to the first 30 seconds of each song.
