Please note, ASUS Fan Xpert is not a stand-alone product. It is a feature of the ASUS AI Suite 3 which provides a set of utilities for optimal tweaking and monitoring of your ASUS motherboard. The utility is provided with the purchase of your ASUS motherboard, or you can download it from the ASUS support website by simply providing your specific model.

Features:

• ASUS Fan Xpert 3 also supports a dual PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) / DC (Direct Current) mode for both the CPU and case housing fans.
• The preset modes Silent, Standard, Turbo and Full Speed apply to all fans at once, and the Fan Tuning function first detects the connected fans and their speed range. The fans can then run slower when the system is idle, which results in less noise and less wear.
• Features both 'Smart Mode' as well as 'Fixed RPM' (Revolutions Per Minute) mode to allow full control over the system. In Smart Mode the user drags points on a temperature/speed curve for each fan and can select up to three temperature sources.
• There is also a Fan Spin Up Time and a Fan Spin Down Time control. This allows the user to avoid unwanted fan speed fluctuations when the temperature changes quickly, and the Auto-Fan Stop option lets fans stop at very low speeds.
• The software suite is a Windows program, meaning you can start it up at any time and make adjustments, rather than having to do it all from the boot environment (BIOS/UEFI).
• Depending on the motherboard, AI Suite 3 also includes Dual Intelligent Processors 5, TPU, EPU (Energy Processing Unit), DIGI+ Power Control, Turbo App, EZ Update, PC Cleaner and System Information.

ASUS Fan Xpert 3 is bundled with ASUS AI Suite 3 motherboard control; ASUS motherboard owners can use this product specifically built with their system in mind.

It is free, but it works only with supported ASUS motherboards; on newer boards (Intel 600 and AMD X670E series onwards) the same fan control is built into Armoury Crate.
