Droid4X

Droid4X - Android emulator, "ground" for mobile games. With its help you can run many games and applications from Google Play or install them in the virtual environment from APK files. The emulator interface is divided into three sections. The first one shows the recommended (advertising) applications, the second one is a desktop with the installed ones, and the third one is an app store. Droid4X runs Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) in a window with its own toolbar, and its multi-manager can create, clone and repair several emulator instances. In fact, it creates a virtual environment from which you can comfortably install and run applications.

As we mentioned earlier, Droid4X is aimed at mobile games. The settings let you choose the screen resolution, orientation, DPI and volume, and the emulator offers the possibility of assigning virtual game controls to keyboard keys and the mouse. For example, instead of a virtual cross in shooters you can use the usual WASD keys, instead of a virtual gunshot key you can use a left mouse click and so on. In general, the developers built this key mapping to make your gaming experience on a PC as comfortable as possible.

Another interesting feature of Droid4X is that the program allows you to use a smartphone as a controller for games running in the emulator. To work in this mode you will need to install a special controller application on your smartphone/tablet. Please note that Droid4X is no longer developed: the last release is the 0.11.0 beta, and the official website is offline, so updates and support are no longer available.
