Duplicate File Detector is an application for searching for duplicate files on a computer. Duplicates are defined by file size, name, content and other parameters. It doesn't matter which files are analyzed - music, executable, text, graphic or any other files. After searching for all duplicates, the user only has to delete unnecessary copies of files. The program can search for duplicates in specified folders, on disks, rules of exclusion of certain directories from search are supported. You can also use a mask search. Duplicate File Detector also allows you to search for duplicates by file contents, and the size of the read and compared part of the file can be specified independently - from the first 10 kilobytes to 100 megabytes. Supports analysis of MP3 tags and other audio formats and group delete/move/copy files. There is a built-in viewer that "understands" almost all available graphic, text and multimedia formats, binary and some other files.
