TreeSize Free is an application that finds folders that take up a lot of disk space. The program is available both as an installer and as a portable version that does not require installation. The developers tried to keep the interface as minimal as possible. The main window contains a ribbon with the most important commands and a list of folders with their size, allocated space, file count and last change date. To start the analysis, you will have to make just a couple of clicks, after which you can observe the numbers growing in the "Size" column.

In order to get the most accurate information about the amount of space occupied by certain directories, we recommend waiting for the end of the scan and not making hasty conclusions. Folder sizes can also be shown as a treemap chart, and the program can be started from the context menu of a drive in Windows Explorer. TreeSize Free is free for private, non-commercial use, cannot be used on Windows Server, and current versions require Windows 10 or 11.
