EditPad Lite - text editor to replace the standard Windows Notepad. The program includes a standard set of tools (including spell-checking) that allow you to edit texts in Windows, UNIX and Mac encodings. EditPad Lite lets you edit large files, search for and replace text (including regular expressions), automatically back up text files, and perform multiple repetitions and undo actions.
The program supports Unicode encoding and allows you to work simultaneously with several files on different tabs. Thanks to the Clip Collection feature, EditPad Lite users can save collections of frequently used text fragments (clips) and quickly insert them into editable documents. If you double-click on the clip, it will immediately be inserted into the text. Such clip can be HTML code, template code or arbitrary text. In addition, the program allows you to sort lists, delete duplicate lines from them, insert special characters into the text and automatically highlight the addresses of sites and e-mail. EditPad Lite is free of charge only in case of non-commercial use of the program.
