I recently used Jamulus software to connect with two other musicians. The audio quality was surprisingly good, despite being a free program. The latency was minimal and the overall user experience was quite straightforward. The software supports multiple connections and we were able to run it on both Mac and PC with no problems. The software did crash once during a couple of hours of jamming, but it was easy to get it running again. It was also possible to record the session, which was very handy. All in all, I was pleased with the experience using Jamulus.
