JXplorer is an open source ldap browser originally developed by Computer Associates' eTrust Directory development lab. It is a standards compliant general purpose ldap browser that can be used to read and search any ldap directory, or any X.500 directory with an ldap interface.

JXplorer provides a graphical user interface for exploring and managing LDAP directory data.

I recently used JXplorer software for a project. It is an open source software that provides a great platform for LDAP browsing and editing. It is user friendly and its graphical interface made it easy to understand how the LDAP directory hierarchy works. I was able to easily navigate through the folders and see the data. The help menu was also very useful when I needed assistance with a certain task. I was also able to export the data in several formats. Overall, I found the software to be useful and efficient.
