The thing that is so remarkable about this system compared to something like DropBox, which anyone could look into at any point, is something that is fully secured. One downfall of such security is how bad the bugs were in this software, it was stated that if no password was set between the two senders then a hacker would be able to get into the system. Another issue that was found after fixing the earlier bugs, if a user had a version that was lower than it should be then a hacker would be able to find a path to enter all the files. ShareIt decided to come out with a bigger security update, they decided to add a secure network. This update was for every platform that would give a prompt to update to the latest version. To update to the latest version on the Lenovo desktop or laptop it will pop up once the application is opened. On the other hand, updating this on the app you would need to first go up into the settings department, then click onto secure mode, then press save. Overall, this application seems like a really good idea, but as the times have changed and have been improving. I would rather just be able to use a VPN service to feel more secure sending things back and forth.
