MAC Address Scanner is a small utility used to scan the network and determine the MAC addresses of the computers on it. The application uses the most appropriate mesh building tools and is able to work with both a single server and ranges of IP addresses. The information that was collected by MAC Address Scanner can be exported to XML, HTML and TXT files. It's done in just one click.
The graphical interface of the program consists of one window. To start scanning, just select a network (or one computer) and then press the "Start Scan" button. As the network is analyzed, the IP of the found computers, their MAC addresses and their current status will gradually appear in a separate panel. When the scan is complete, MAC Address Scanner will inform you of the number of "scanned" computers and offer to save the information in a separate file. The program is completely free and does not require any additional software to be installed. If you have any difficulties or problems with the application, you can refer to the help file (in English only). In addition to the usual version of MAC Address Scanner, users also have access to a portable version of the MAC Address Scanner, which does not leave any "traces" of activity in the system and does not require installation. In general, this is a very simple and fast utility that does a great job.
