Popcorn Time

Popcorn Time is an application designed specifically for those who love watching movies and videos, but don't want to wait for them to be downloaded to your computer's hard drive. In fact, this software solution is a torrent client that can play video right in the process of downloading it, while avoiding "hangs" and maintaining the original quality of the picture, without the compression used by web players.

The main window of the program is dedicated to the library of movies and TV shows, which holds several thousand titles. You can select or find the desired movie, view detailed information, specify a soundtrack or subtitles and start watching after just a few seconds. Popcorn Time will pick the source with the most seeds for you and download the initial fragments first. The built-in player allows you to watch videos in full screen mode, change the aspect ratio, manage color parameters, adjust the volume, and so on. Simply put, it has all the functions necessary for everyday use. Because the video comes from torrents, your IP address is visible to other peers, and the settings offer a VPN connection. Keep in mind that streaming copyrighted content may be illegal in your country. This Popcorn Time is a fork of the original open-source project, which was shut down in 2014.

Popcorn Time allows you to watch movies and videos while they're downloading, with no loss in quality.
