An open-source utility that takes snapshots of the Windows registry and compares them to show what has changed.
RegShot is a small open-source utility for tracking changes in the Windows registry. With RegShot you can compare the state of registry entries "before" and "after" system changes (program installation, etc.): take the 1st shot, make the change, take the 2nd shot and press Compare. The user can choose whether the program saves the reports as plain text or as an HTML document. It is possible to add comments to the saved logs, and selected folders can be scanned as well. RegShot may be useful if the system becomes unstable and you need to find out which registry changes caused this instability.
