Scribus is a free open source publishing program for creating text and graphic documents of any complexity. The goal of Scribus is to offer a worthy alternative to commercial editors of this type. Simultaneously with ease of use and easy understanding of the interface, Scribus provides professional features such as CMYK color separation, easy PDF creation, and PostScript encapsulated page description language. Full ICC color management and color separation are also supported.

Initially Scribus was created to work under Linux operating systems, so the ideology of the program is not always "Windows ideology", but now Scribus is available for both Windows and MacOS. Supports importing OpenOffice.org, ESP, HTML, SVG, PDF documents.

Scribus allows for professional quality document creation with features like CMYK color separation and easy PDF creation, for free.
