Sudoku X

Let's welcome the mysterious member of the Sudoku club, Sudoku X. This software application features a complex and challenging game that follows the classical Sudoku format, but with a twist. Here, you'll encounter a 9x9 grid equally divided into 9 squares. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to fill in the grid's empty spaces with numbers from 1 to 9. However, there are conditions: numbers cannot be repeated in each row, each column, and each 3x3 square.

Where Sudoku X really stands out is the addition of two diagonal lines. Some cell numbers will be highlighted against a darker background, forming these diagonal lines, and the numbers within a diagonal line must not be the same. This adds an extra layer of challenge that requires greater concentration and strategic thinking.

You can use the numerical keypad on the left of the grid to fill in an empty space. If you wish to delete a previously entered number, simply click on the 'x' button under the numerical keypad to erase it. If you're having difficulty placing a number, you can click the 'Hint' button below the grid to reveal one of the answers. However, each time you use this feature, an additional 100 seconds will be added to your overall play time, as indicated in the lower-left corner of the screen.
