I have used the Trelby software for writing and formatting screenplays. It has a very intuitive user interface and the tools are easy to learn and use. The auto-complete feature is particularly helpful, as it can save time by completing words and phrases as you type. The speech-to-text feature is also useful as it can help you to quickly capture dialogue. The software also offers a range of formatting options to help you create professional-looking scripts. I also like that it can export documents in various file formats. In general, I find Trelby to be a great option for any screenwriter looking for a reliable and easy-to-use software.

Trelby is an interesting and useful open source screenwriting software. It handles the formatting of screenplay text very well, and has a good range of tools for laying out and organising a script.
