Avast! Premier

Avast! Premier is an antivirus solution of Internet Security class. It includes file system protection, Internet connection scanning, and blocking spam and malicious emails.

The Antivirus module provides the user with several types of scanning, real-time file protection, email scanning, blocking malicious codes on web pages, traffic scanning when downloading content from torrents, security when communicating in messengers (QIP, ICQ, etc.) and some other functions.

Avast! Premier offers robust security for your computer by actively protecting against viruses, spam emails, and regulating network connections.

Separately presented module "Anti-spam" which blocks spam on e-mail and provides you with statistics in the form of charts.

The Firewall divides all your network connections into three zones: Home, Work and Public Places. Home networks are the safest, public networks are the most dangerous. Depending on which category the network connection is classified as, it gets its own rules by which it will be checked. You can view the network connections of each program running on your computer. Each program can have its own network access rights.

The Tools tab contains a number of additional useful tools, including a tool for permanently deleting files, clearing history and cookies in your browser, and a secure environment in which you can run programs you don't trust.
