CursorFX

Stardock CursorFX allows you to create incredible, spectacular-looking cursors for use in Windows. The program adds visual effects, motion trails, shadows and sounds to the Windows mouse pointer. CursorFX users can create and use their own mouse cursors. Cursors can be made from ordinary PNG images, so it is easy to achieve good results when creating them.

The program comes with a set of ready-made cursor themes, and thousands of additional cursors can be downloaded from WinCustomize.com. Just select the desired theme and press the Apply button. To restore the standard cursor, select the Windows Default theme.

When creating cursors, you can make animated cursors as well as static ones. On the Effects page, you can assign an effect to each mouse event, such as a left, middle or right button click or double-click. CursorFX also has a Settings page that adjusts the hue, brightness, contrast, opacity, size and shadow of the cursor, and a Sounds page that plays a sound on mouse clicks. CursorFX is a paid program with a free trial.
