Doki Doki Mod Manager (DDMM) is a free mod manager for Doki Doki Literature Club!, the psychological horror visual novel by Team Salvato. It was created by Zudo to take the technical part out of modding: the manager stores the mods you download, installs each of them into its own separate copy of the game and lets you launch any of them from one window, without touching your original game files.
Features
• Simple interface: The Mod Manager has a clean interface with Play and Mods tabs, a search field and a game preview screen for every installed mod.
Doki Doki Mod Manager allows users to easily install, update, and manage their mods.
• First time setup: A setup wizard asks you to download a clean copy of DDLC from the official website and drag and drop it into the window; this copy is then used as the base for all your installs.
• Multiple installs: You can create any number of named installs, either of the unmodified game or of different mods, and keep them side by side.
• Install mods from the internet: The Mods tab lists featured mods recommended by the developers and gives access to the larger Doki Doki Mod Club catalogue, so many mods can be downloaded without leaving the program.
• Install mods from your PC: Mods you have already downloaded can be installed from ZIP, 7Z and RAR archives.
• Categories and search: Installed mods can be sorted into your own categories and found quickly with the search field.
• Screenshots: Press S while playing to take a screenshot; the screenshots are shown on the game preview screen after you stop playing.
• Save data management: Mods can be uninstalled together with their save data, save data can be deleted separately, and a global save option is also available.
• Customization: You can change the installation folder and pick your favourite character, who is shown as the background image. Several interface languages and a dark theme are available.
• Discord integration: Discord Rich Presence integration is built in.
• Tools for mod developers: Mod authors can add metadata to their mods, use the SDK to add achievements and turn on a developer mode for debugging.
• Platforms: Versions were released for Windows, macOS and Linux (as an AppImage).
Doki Doki Mod Manager is free and open source (MIT license); the Windows download is a small web installer that fetches the program package during setup. Even if you own DDLC on Steam, the manager needs a fresh copy of the game downloaded from the DDLC website. The official website doki.space is no longer online and the original project by Zudo is no longer maintained, although community forks of the code exist.
