Epic Privacy Browser is a free web browser focused on privacy, developed by Hidden Reflex. It was launched in 2010 as the first web browser made for India. The original release was built on the Mozilla Firefox engine and was "equipped" with a built-in antivirus scanner. In 2013 the browser moved to Chromium, so its tabs, menus and settings window now look much like those of Google Chrome. Epic can work in an always-on private browsing mode and can delete browsing data when it is closed.
Epic blocks ads, trackers, third-party cookies, fingerprinting attempts and cryptomining scripts by default, and its built-in encrypted proxy (VPN) with a country selector hides the user's IP address and location from websites. Privacy protection can be adjusted for a single website through the umbrella icon when a site does not work correctly. The browser supports extensions from the Chrome Web Store and is also available for macOS, Android and iOS.
Epic Privacy Browser offers robust online privacy by blocking tracking scripts and ads by default.
