Equalify is an audio equalizer plugin for Spotify that lets you tweak how your music sounds.

  • Visualizer - built-in audio spectrum analyzer that gives you the ability to be entertained by dancing colors or adds a little pizzaz to your filters.
  • Device changer - change output devices with ease, no need to restart Spotify.
  • Parametric-Ability to add as many bands as you want to any location. You can select between a low/high pass, Peak, low/high shelf, and notch filters for each band.

Since the creation of the original Equalify plugin, there have been many changes is features and visuals.

Equalify is now fully parametric and can change the output device while music is playing without pausing it or having to restart Spotify. The multitude of settings makes it easy for you to get Spotify working and sound like you want it to. There is also a limiter in Equalify that will let you tweak your bands to your heart's content without worrying about clipping the signal. You can save as many presets as you like, and it's easy to switch between your saved presets.

Can change output devices with no interruption to Spotify

It is easy to install. You log in to create an account, choose whatever license and models fit your needs, pay for your purchase, and then the download begins. When you launch Spotify the first time, you may be asked for your Eqaulify username and password, enter the information, and Equalify will be activated. You will see the green "equalizer" next to the Spotify icon. You can click on this, and it will open Equalify, and you will be on your way to adjusting the way your music sounds.

  • Requires Spotify v1.0 or above
  • Requires Windows 7 or above

Equalify is perfect for spotify. You have a great playlist but wanna test how the music sounds at different wave lengths? Or height? Turk to Equalify. It works hand in hand with spotify to tweak and change your favorite songs. It even has a visualizer to give dancing colors while you jam out. You can go on to become the DJ youve always wanted to be

The software can help change the sound output from Spotify, so you can make it sound how you want. It sounds alright but not something I need.

Equalify is a plugin/add-on for the Spotify application. Once installed it gives you an equalizer directly inside your Spotify window allowing you to alter the music in a similar way to Winamp. Because this isn't a standard application, just a plugin it's a little difficult to understand how to use it. However, once you play a song in Spotify you'll see the equalizer green bars icon show - you cant then click this to open the actual equalizer and alter the music to suit your own auditory needs. From the equalizer you can easily turn it off, to get back to the original music, reset it or save and access your own custom-made presets. It is also currently skinned so that it fits in nicely with the current design of the Spotify interface.

Great little helper, if you enjoy music as much as I do! I basically stream through Spotify every day, either in my phone or laptop. I was a bit upset when I find out, that there is no equalizer in the desktop Spotify app. This will add a button in your desktop app, so you can set the sound to your personal preferences! Definitely recommend to every music enthusiast, who is not happy with the generic software sound setting.

I recently tried out the Equalify software and was pleased with the experience. It allowed me to customize my audio experience in ways I hadn't been able to before. The sound was improved and more balanced, and the interface was intuitive and easy to use. I liked the ability to save and quickly switch between different EQ settings. The software also didn't have any noticeable impact on my computer's performance. All in all, I'm happy with the Equalify software and would recommend it to others.
