Fraps is a benchmarking software. It currently supports only Windows operating system. However, this tool is widely used by gamers.

Fraps can hold screen capture history. It has user management integration. It can be used as a good benchmarking tool for games. It supports a lot of extensions, such as screenshot saving.

Fraps can record videos at a very high quality. However, the video size becomes extremely big. Therefore, it can cause issues if the user's storage is extremely limited.

I’m not a very tech oriented person but I did find Fraps pretty straightforward to use. I mostly use Fraps for its screen capture features. When I need to record a video I’m watching or scrolling through comments to save for later, Fraps has been super helpful.

IT IS A SOFTWARE THAT BASICALLY HELPS BENCHMARK GAMES YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING WHEN IT IS RUNNING. IT ALSO HELPS WITH SCREENSHOT OF THE GAME WHILE STILL PLAYING AND A REAL SATISFACTORY FUNCTION IS RECORDING THE GAME YOU PLAY WHILE STILL PLAYING.

I have used Fraps for many years to capture game footage for YouTube videos. It's easy to use and can capture video at up to 75 frames per second. The video quality is good and it's easy to export the videos. Setting up hotkeys is also straightforward. The audio is captured well too, but the UI isn't particularly intuitive. It can also be quite slow to launch, especially when recording from multiple monitors. Overall, it gets the job done but it's not the most user-friendly software.

The software is a useful tool for recording gameplay footage and capturing screenshots. It is easy to use, but can cause performance issues on lower-end systems. The interface is simple and straightforward, but lacks advanced editing features. The free version has limited functionality, but the paid version offers more options. Overall, it is a solid choice for basic screen recording needs.
