GetWindowText is a program for reading text from different controls in program windows. Reading is initiated by dragging the pointer from the program window to the elements from which you want to get the text. The program reads text from lists, reads window headers, headers of standard Windows elements, such as taskbar, system tray, etc. However, many items remain unrecognized because of the limited number of item classes GetWindowText works with. The program's capabilities are limited, but since it does not require installation, it is very easy to use, and the executable file weighs less than 50 kilobytes, it can be seen as a tool that can be useful in some specific cases.

GetWindowText allows users to easily extract text from various program windows and system elements, making information retrieval swift and uncomplicated.
