I´d put ISkysoft Video Studio up against any of the more popular video editing suites. The GUI is amazing and very simple to use which reduces the learning curve. I used Sony Vegas previously and the GUI was very confusing and took months to be able to navigate efficiently. I also love the fact that it has an effects suite included and I don´t need to buy a separate costly add-on software to be able to add nice graphics to my productions.

Very easy to use, especially with the drag-and-drop functions and the really easy-to-use interface. I managed to get used to it quite quickly as a beginner. Only criticism i'd have is that it only seems to work on Apple (and you have to pay for the advanced features), but overall it's pretty good, I didn't run into any serious issues, and i'd recommend it.
