Network Alarmer is a monitoring tool from Vovsoft for small networks. It checks a list of computers, servers, routers, printers and other devices by pinging their IP addresses or host names, either on demand or on a schedule, and shows which devices are online. Devices on the local network can be discovered automatically to build the list quickly.
Warns you the moment a server or device on your network goes down.
When a device stops responding, the program reacts with the chosen alarm: it plays a sound, opens a web address, runs a program or script, or dials a phone number through a modem. This makes it useful for noticing failed servers, dropped connections or switched-off equipment without watching a screen. The trial version shows ads and has limited features.
